Getting good marks in JEE Main mock tests do not guarantee that you will also score good marks in the actual exam. However, if students are solving the mock tests regularly in the controlled environment with time bound of 3 hours, it will surely help in increasing the accuracy, time management and performance of exam. If a candidate solved mock tests of the same difficulty level and from the complete syllabus, there is a possibility that the score would be what he/she gets in the mock.

Typically, universities release their cutoff ranks or opening and closing ranks for different branches and categories (such as General, OBC, SC, ST) during the admission process. Getting admission to a government college for engineering typically requires a competitive score in entrance exams like the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) or state-level engineering entrance exams. These exams consider both the JEE score and the 12th-grade percentage. While AJEE score of 58.17% and a 12th-grade percentage of 52% may not be considered very high, it's essential to keep in mind that cutoff scores can vary significantly from year to year and among different colleges. Some government colleges have a higher cutoff, while others may have a lower cutoff.
