No chance in JoSAA. You can go for good private colleges or state government colleges. I will suggest you to give other entrance exams as well like VITEEE srmjee, COMEDK, etc.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2020 (minimum 50% marks in PCM). To get admission in NIT, a candidate must secure at least 75% marks in 10+2 Exam (65% for SC/ST category) or be in the top 20 percentiles in the 10+2 exam conducted by respective boards.

If you are from general category ,you are not qualified for JEE Adv exam 2019.But that is not the end of the road. Everyone who appeared for Jee Mains are qualified to participate JoSSA counselling which are scheduled to be held after JEE Adv result .Even person at the bottom i.e having Zero percentile can take part in counselling process for seat allotment for the NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs),You have bright chance for getting good NIT or other good engineering colleges under Home state quota.This counselling will continue for seven round. You are correct. Admission in IITs are based on All India Ranks. While admissions in NITs and GFTIs are based on various quota like home state, Other state and All India etc. So you are correct.

The eligibility criteria of B.Tech courses at GITA College is given below.

I think you should go for private colleges, because with your score it is going to be tough to get IITs/NITs or even for state government colleges.

Candidates with PCM and PCB subjects during the qualifying examination are eligible. Board/Universities mentioned in notification at VTU website are eligible to apply for KCET. The minimum marks required in Class XII to apply for B. Tech through KCET is 45% for general category while it is 40% for reserved category.

Hello PK Pandey,
It is an interesting query. It's the NTA which is mandated to conduct JEE Mains exam. It has already exam once and announced results. Its scheduled to conduct another set of exam in April. Taking into account, better performance of a candidate in either of exams, ranking will be issued which will be based on percentile. How much is raw score of a candidate is immaterial since last year. Best wishes to you.
