There is a reason for everything in life and there will definitely a reason for your bad performance, exact analysis of problem along with right corrective measures always ensure success and you are the right judge for this (can also take help from parents, mentor, etc.).
You might be weak in some areas of a particular subject, figure that out and focus on it first, you might be having some speed issues in completing the paper, etc.

You can take only one exam that too which mode you have specified while filling the JEE form. However, changes in the form can be made. For that, visit the website of JEE Mains.

Hello Aashish,
The cut-off varies based on your caste. For general category, you need to have 199.5 /200 while for BC, 199/200 and if you belong to SC or ST category then it is sufficient to have 195/200.
