The introduction of negative marking in VITEEE exam pattern for the first time is the most significant change made this year. Now, for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. While each correct answer carry 4 marks. So, now with negative marking implemented, blind guessing can be risky. 

The JEE Main 2026 session 2 admit card is out. NTA releases the JEE Main admit card around 3-4 days before the exam date.

Candidates can check the JEE Main exam centre on their respective admit cards. Before the admit card is released, the exam city is allotted to the candidates via the city intimation slip.

The JEE Main 2026 exam shift timings are:

• Shift 1: 9 am to 12 noon
• Shift 2: 3 pm to 6 pm

Candidates can check the JEE Main 2026 exam date for session 2 on their city slip and also on their JEE Main admit card.

The JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip link is made available on the official website only - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA has released the JEE Main session 2 city intimation slip at the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the same by login to the website.
