No, JEE Main is not compulsory  for the selection of candidates to BTech programme. The college also considers scores of Vedam Scholastic Aptitude Test (VSAT). The qualified candidates must also perform well in PI round conducted by the college.

Unfortunately, with a preparatory rank of 100, you can not get directly admitted to any course at any IIT. ou would have to go through the preparatory course first and then wait for the subsequent year to potentially get admission, depending on your performance and available seats.

Yes, you can generally apply for a Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) based on your JEE percentile, but the primary deciding factor for TFWS eligibility is usually your family income, not just your JEE score; most institutions require you to submit income proof alongside your JEE percentile to qualify for TFWS seats.

Key points to remember:

Income criteria is primary:

While a good JEE percentile can strengthen your application for a TFWS seat, the primary consideration will be your family's income falling within the specified eligibility criteria for the TFWS scheme at the institution you are applying to.

Candidates can check their allotted ranks and download their result in the form of WBJEE rank card. Since the rank card is required during the admission process, the candidates are advised to take a print out.

In case the candidate's VITEEE application fee payment status is failed, then they are advised to check if the fee has been deducted from the bank account or not. If the fee has been deducted, then it will be refunded by the authorities. In case of a refund, the candidates can make the payment again online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card.
