No, admissions in the BTech course at NEHU Shillong is not possible without JEE Main. Students must clear JEE Main exam to get admission in this university's BTech course. At the undergraduate level, the university offers BTech course to students. The total tuition fee for the BTech course is INR 5,000 - INR 6,700.

There are a total of 1,349 Electrical Engineering colleges in India that accept the JEE Main exam scores for admission to courses in Electrical Engineering at the undergraduate level. JEE Main is considered as one of the most reputed and competitive entrance test for courses falling under the discipline of Engineering. Among all the courses, M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stands out as the most preferable choice for admission among the students belonging to the General AI quota. The last-round cutoff of the same stood at 711 in 2024.

Eligibility
To be eligible for admission, you must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with at least 50% aggregate marks. Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science must be compulsory subjects.

Yes, IIT Bombay accept GATE scores for the admission to M.S/ M.Tech courses for various All India categories. Further, as per the IIT Bombay cutoff 2024, the last-round ranged between 325 and 725 for the General AI category candidates. Among all the categories, the most difficult course to get into IIT Bombay was M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering having a last-round cutoff 750.

- Candidates can use the GATE scorecard to apply for admission to various IITs, NITs, IISc, and other prestiguous colleges.
