Yes, Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its BTech courses. To be eligible candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the optional subjects-Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology with at least 60% aggregate from a recognised board. The university accepts JEE Main and UPSEE scores. Candidates must apply and appear for one entrance exam i.e JEE Main and UPSEE for admission to BTech.

Yes, it's possible to get admission to a government college for the CSE branch with an EWS rank of 1434 in WBJEE: 

  • A score of more than 120 is considered a good score in WBJEE. 
  • A rank between 25,000 to 50,000 is considered a good score for WBJEE.

IIT Kanpur also accepts GATE exam scores for the admission to M.Tech courses. Candidates with 700 score can easily get admission to any course except Discontinued (Jul 2023)-M.Tech. in Microelectronics and VLSI at IIT Kanpur. The IIT Kanpur cutoff 2024 stood between 622 and 840 for the General AI category candidates. The toughest and the easiest course to get into IIT Kanpur were Discontinued (Jul 2023) - M.Tech in Microelectronics and VLSI and Discontinued (Jul 2023)-M.Tech. in Power Engineering for the General AI category candidates. Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore conducts an in-house entrance test for admission to its BTech programme. The institute has released the schedule for the Phase 1 exam. The AEEE Phase 1 2025 dates are Feb 1 and Feb 2, 2025.

Students who wish to apply for Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore BTech courses can apply via JEE Main scores. As per official sources, the JEE Main tentative dates for sessions 1 and 2 have been announced by the NTA. As per the announcement, the session 1 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in January and the second session in April.

Manipal University NEET SS cutoff 2023 was released for admission to MCh and DM courses. As per the 2023 last-round cutoff, the closing ranks for the MCh courses varied between 60 and 6520 for the General AI category students. Of all the MCh courses, the most competitive was MCh in Hand Surgery, followed by MCh in Reproductive Medicine & Surgery programmes. So, considering the last-round 2023 cutoff, candidates with a 3820 rank in NEET SS are eligible to get admission to a few MCh specialisations. Manipal University accepts NEET SS for admission to the DM and MCh courses. As per the 2023 last-round cutoff, the closing ranks ranged between 2576 and 5892 for the General AI category candidates. Among all the DM specialisations, the most competitive was DM in Infectious Disease, followed by DM in Gastroenterology and DM in Cardiology, with last-round closing ranks of 2576, 2844, and 3713, respectively. Manipal University offers a full-time MBBS course via KMC Mangalore based on NEET UG scores followed by Karnataka NEET UG counselling. For 2024, the counselling has been concluded with the declaration of special stray vacancy round. During the last-round, the Karnataka NEET UG cutoff rank for admission to the MBBS course was 6463 for the students belonging to the General AI quota.
