Candidates can modify their selected GATE exam city during the GATE application form correction period. The GATE form correction facility was activated on November 6, 2024 at the GOAPS portal. Yes, you can change the GATE exam city at the time of GATE 2026 application form correction facility. The GATE application form correction window will be available after the completion of the registration process. The last date to make corrections is November 6.

The GATE 2025 has eight zonal centres namely - IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Madras.

The conducting authorities will conduct the GATE exam at around 200 exam centres from the issued list of GATE exam centres. The candidaes whose name will appear in the TNEA rank list are selected in TNEA counselling. Based on the TNEA ranks of the candidtaes, seats will be allotted to them via the TNEA counselling process.

There is no score of TNEA, as TNEA is not an exam but a counselling process based on class 12 marks.

As per the First Graduate Tuition Fee Concession in TNEA, the Government have ordered to grant tuition fee concession to the candidates who are to be the first graduate in a family, those who are attending counselling and joined in professional courses in Government / Aided and Self-Financing Engineering Colleges. They have to submit the following:
- Certificate obtained from Head Quarters Deputy Tahsildar in the format prescribed in G.O. Electronic form/ digitally signed e-Certificate only will be accepted which necessarily should include name of applicant’s father, mother, father’s father, father’s mother, mother&rsquo
