IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was concluded after the last round of cutoff. The cutoff was ranks for the General All India category candidates was ranged between 415 and 20427. The closing cutoff rank for BTech(Hons) CSE was 415 in 2024, 279 in 2023 and 303 in 2022; which shows that the cutoff witnessed a fluctuating trend for the course. As in CSE, for most of the courses, there was a fluctuating trend for during the past few years. The last-round closing Cutoff of various courses for the General AI category have been given in the table below to show the trend for the 3 years:

IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced Cutoff was released based on the category and gender. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks ranged between 415 and 20427. To get B.Tech. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering, the General AI category candidates must have secured a minimum cutoff rank of 3613. For the General AI female candidates, the minimum JEE Advanced rank to get Mechanical Engineering was 10732. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff rank for Mechanical closed at 1721.

To get admission into IIT Kharagpur, the JEE Advanced closing Cutoff rank for the female candidate (General Category) ranged between 1661 and 24653 for different BTech courses. Since BTech (Hons) in CSE was the toughest course to get into, therefore the Cutoff for the same was the lowest cutoff rank i.e. 1661. For the Female Candidates (OBC category), the JEE Advanced Cutoff ranged between 601 and 9222, with the cutoff for BTech (Hons) in CSE being 601. For the SC Female category and the ST Female category, the Cutoff ranks to secure a seat in CSE were 414 and 206, respectively.

Yes, the CT Group of Institutions (CTGI) accepts JEE Main scores for BTech admissions. Students must have at least 50% aggregate combined in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) after passing Class 12. Candidates must have a valid JEE Main score for admission. But their website makes no mention of any particular cutoff. The application form can be filled out online on the CTGI website or through a designated admission portal. Submit the scanned copies of the Class 12 marksheet, the JEE Main score card, etc. During the application process, students can select their preferred BTech branch and campus as well. Depending on the cutoff for that year, you may be able to get into the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) branch with an AUEET rank of 3537 and be from the SC category. You might have a greater chance because SC category cutoffs are often lower, but for a more precise estimate, it's best to review the cutoffs from prior years.

Even if you fall into the ST category, your prospects of getting into an NIT are extremely slim with a JEE Main percentile of 48.0513547. Because NITs typically have high cutoff percentiles, admission is typically denied for scores below the 50th percentile. It is advisable to look at alternative engineering programs or universities before applying.
