As a general rule, NITs have had cutoff ranks in the region of 10k to 20 k for various branches. The rank corresponding to a 94 percentile can be around here depending on the year and branch. However, for branches less competitive or NITs having lower cutoff ranks you may have a chance. One should refer to individual NIT cutoffs for the year.

It may be difficult to get into SASTRA Universitys B.Tech degree with a 37% JEE score and a 73% board exam score because of the universitys tough admission process. SASTRA allocates 70% of seats on the combination of JEE Main scores and 12th grade marks, whereas 30% are determined solely by board marks. Even though you have a respectable board score, your poor JEE score could affect your chances. Still, its worthwhile to apply because annual admissions deadlines can change, its also advised to get in touch with the university for more information.
