  • Must have passed a diploma course in engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from the State Council of Technical Education of any state or equivalent.

The KIITEE exam for B.Tech admission lasts 120 minutes and ends automatically once the allotted time is over. If you finish the test before the allotted time, you will get a confirmation page giving you two options: go back to the test or complete the test.

Candidates must log in using the password provided on the admit card, go through the instructions, and wait for the instructor/ administrator to start the test. Yes, KIIT does conduct a registration process before entering the exam hall. Once the security person checks the candidate, he/she has to report to the registration desk for further verification -

  • Firstly, the applicant has to produce their hall ticket. 

  • The candidate’s identification will be verified based on the proof of valid photo ID shown to the authorities. 

  • After verifying their identity, scanning the admit card, photograph, and fingerprints of the left and right thumb, the candidate will be allotted a computer number where they can take the examination.

The KIITEE exam is a computer-based entrance test where candidates must attempt the examination at a workstation. Here are some rules and regulations that an applicant must follow while appearing for the KIITEE examination -

The exam pattern of JEE Main 2026 has not been announced yet. As per the current exam pattern, the Paper 1 exam has 75 questions, 25 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In Paper 2A and 2B, the total number of questions are 77 and 100, respectively. The total marks of JEE Main Paper 1 is 300, for Paper 2A and 2B its 400.

No, NTA has not announced any change in JEE Main 2026 exam pattern. However, NTA made changes in JEE Main exam pattern in 2025. As per the current JEE exam pattern, the total number of questions in JEE Main Paper 1 (BE/BTech) are 75, 25 each from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Also, there are no optional question in section B in any subject. Students will need to answer all 5 questions in section B from all three subjects. The marking scheme and total marks remain the same.

  • Visit the official website of KIITEE - kiit.ac.in or kiitee.ac.in

  • Then click on the “online application form.”

  • Go through the instructions carefully

  • Fill out the application form with the correct information

  • Upload documents such as photographs, signatures, 10th mark sheets, and other certificates to complete the application process.

The KIITEE application form will be released in phases. The mode of the application form is online. The application form process of KIITEE include registration, filling out the application form, uploading the documents, etc. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must complete the application form before the due date. Here are the tentative dates for the KIITEE 2025 application form -

Phase I KIITEE application form

2nd week of November 2024

Phase II KIITEE application form

2nd week of April 2024

Phase III KIITEE application form

2nd week of May 2024

Candidates are advised to frequently check the official website - kiit.ac.in- for the latest updates and notifications. The KIITEE 2025 exam will be held online only.
