The reputation of the college may affect the range. College with high reputation will have higher range.You cannot get admission into college through JEE main exam. You need to separately write exam or you should be your state topper in 12th boards to get direct admission. Even if you are taking admission through JEE main result you need to have a percentile of about 98-99.

Admission in VJTI are done purely on the basis of merit of MHTCET for engineering courses through CAP allotment by CET cell Maharashtra. So chances of getting admission through JEE Main rank you obtained are very low.

As I checked, the syllabus for PG Journalism and Mass Communication for LPUNEST is readily available of LPU's official website. You can go through the syllabus from there. It involves eight different sections which has different syllabus for LPUNEST.

The authorities will provide the JET entrance exam syllabus pdf on its official website. A rank of 2492 will not be high enough to secure a seat in the most sought-after branches or colleges.According to the data of recent years the college does not provide admission with a rank of 2492 in KLEEE exam as last year the cutoff rank was 1200 for admission in the college and was around the same only for the last two years. So according to recent years the rank of 2492 is not enough for admission to the college.
