Engineering Entrance Exam

The Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training is responsible for administering the entrance exam known as the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test, or TS POLYCET. It is necessary to be admitted to a range of Diploma programmes in engineering and non-engineering/technology subjects provided by Telangana's Polytechnic institutes. Applicants may apply if they have completed or are scheduled to take their tenth standard exams. Normally, the exam takes place once a year. Through the TS POLYCET exam, candidates' proficiency in subjects like mathematics, physics, and chemistry is assessed. Depending on the results of their exams, candidates can be admitted to the Diploma programmes offered by the Polytechnic institutes in Telangana in the following fields: computer science, electronics and communication, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering.

To apply for the Uni-GAUGE E Exam (Unified Graduate Aptitude Test - Engineering) and the COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - Undergraduate Entrance Test), you have to take two separate exams. While COMEDK UGET is managed by COMEDK for admission to engineering courses in participating colleges in Karnataka, the Uni-GAUGE E Exam is administered by the ERA Foundation for admission to engineering courses at several universities and colleges throughout India. Therefore, to apply for both exams, you must independently register for and sit in the COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E assessments. Each exam will have its own dates, testing centres, and registration deadlines.
