Distance engineering in any discipline is invalid now, as per the order of Supreme Court. You can do Part Time or Evening classes. If you are thinking about AMIE, then give it a rest. As recognition of AMIE course is still undecided.

It doesn't matter much what course you picked. IAF takes all forms of engineering students for various tasks. So, the best branch to choose would be the one you are interested in. As said, do not fall for such courses. They have no recognition and are only a waste of resource. AMIE's recognition is also in doubt, so I would recommend not to take admission there yet.
