VITEEE VIT Vellore conducts VITEEE a computer-based test for admissions into various undergraduate engineering courses offered by its participating campuses. SRMJEEE SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed University) conducts the Joint Engineering Entrance examination for admission to UG engineering programs (B.E. /B.Tech) on the basis of candidates' scores in the entrance test. KEAM The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala conducts the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical KEAM entrance exam to offer admission into various engineering colleges in the state. GATE Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an online entrance exam conducted to grant admissions to postgraduate engineering courses in IITs. The exam is conducted by IITs on a rotational basis. It is conducted once a year and is 3 hours long. More than 1000 universities accept students with GATE scores to grant them admissions to the PG engineering courses.

Computer Science engineer mainly deals with the software, while the electronic and communication engineer deals with both hardware and software. The development of automatic machines is a part of electronic and communication engineering. If you have a high in interest in coding, and software, you should choose CSE, and if u like developing both hardware and software, u should go with electronic and communication engineering.
