If the 1 preference college is good and have an excellent % rate of placement I would suggest you to go for 1st preference but if you are willing you can give your 2nd attempt and choose between the 2 colleges.

Don't worry, you will get good college in TNEA. Your marks is almost good. The best one could get is through counselling. You must apply for AIEESE. They offer scholarships and counselling based on marks which a student achieves in their exam. The exam is held yearly on national level.

Cut off marks for admission to a diploma varies from one state to another state and also for different category of persons based on caste. MIT WPU is now taking its own different exam and YOU will get admission easily. As the CET cut-off is also low as it becomes Automatous.
MHT CET paper total marks 200.Generally cuttoff for every year is 130 and more for cse in mit pune Mechanical is 110 and more.
