Yes, you can get admission through your JEE Mains in private colleges and ICT where they have 15% JEE quota. You will get various good college like PICT, SPIT, VIT, and RCOEM etc. using JEE marks but some good state government doesn't have JEE quota like VJTI, COEP and WCW etc. So, you have to give MHTCET for these colleges.

In order to secure admission in IIITs through JEE Mains, the good score for the same can be around 85-90 percentile. At the same time, the candidates must feature among the top 25,000 rank range to get admission in popular IIITs. According to previous trends, candidates with a 1 - 25,000 rank range made it to the top IIITs. However, candidates securing ranks beyond 25,000 - 1,00,000 also made it to IIITs (newer IIITs/ regional-level IIITs). .

The last year's cut off at MIT WPU Pune for CS was above 90 percentile for MHTCET.
The JEE Mains cut off rank for the first round of counselling was closed at 670 rank for CS branch.
The college is known for its CS branch. The campus is a beautiful campus. The college has gain a lot of popularity in the recent years. The placement has been good and CS branch (around INR 38 lakhs) has seen the highest of the given package.
For this year also, the cut off will be near about but it can be less as well because of the ongoing situation.

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is a well established institution and it is far better than the new IITs. Placement records are quite well and the most important of all is that you will get good alumni base for being in an older institution. So, I recommend IIT (ISM) Dhanbad in comparison to the new IITs. That's what I have also chosen.

In the question you have mentioned about SC/ST category. So I will stick to them only. Generally the cut offs for these categories are low as compared to the General category.
Normally COEP and VJTI have close cut offs and both the colleges are good.
Below I have mentioned some of the predicted cutoffs for COEP.
Computer: SC:160-165, ST:150-155
Electronics: SC:160-165, ST:150-155
Mechanical: SC:170-180, ST:165-175
IT: SC:155-160, ST:150-155
Production: SC: 140-160, ST: 140-160
Metallurgy: SC:140-160, ST:140-160
Civil: SC:150-165, ST:150-160

I had a similar situation like this last year and I was just feeling like if I had been able to score 15 more then my rank would have boosted by 1500 to 2000 approximately. So you kind of feel dejected and you feel like on the one hand that you are qualified to be an IITian and on other hand, you think you won't be getting your desired branch or desired IIT. Analysing your situation, I can surely help you out with best possibilities. If you are really possessive about getting into IITs then you will have to compromise a bit either branch-wise or IIT-wise. The best options for IITs are as follows. If Top IIT is what really matters to yo

If you have cleared 12th PCB with 88.8% in 2021 and also passed JEE Mains and NEET 2022, then you should choose NSIT as from the following criteria
1. DTU &get; NSIT &get; IIITD
2. DTU campus is most beautiful and well maintained. Every year around 4-5 crore rupees spent on developing and maintaining campus of DTU.
3. NSIT campus is concentrated in a small area and rest is jungle. Few months ago, a monitor lizard has caught from one of the girls hostel.
4. IIITD has a very small campus, still under construction.

If you JEE Mains rank is 47000 in OBC then you get cannot the best IIT even if your CRL rank is 65000, you can't also get into NIT. I am not demotivating you but I have 2 to 3 suggestions for you,
1. Take drop and aim for IIT Bombay and it is achievable if you don't repeat your mistakes. (I will prefer join any online coaching)
2. Go for state level CET exams and go for state level best college.
3. Some private colleges such as Lovely Professional University and etc. accepts low score of JEE Mains also, it is a good option. Go for JAC counselling, state counselling accepting JEE Mains score. I am from Maharashtra, but I know that this y

The JEE Main College Predictor helps you predict colleges that you can get admission to, based on your JEE Main Rank and percentile. You have to use your category rank to check the result for colleges. For NIT, both ranks are considered in JOSSA counseling, CRL, and Category Rank.
