State Bank of India (SBI) announced the Probationary Officer (PO) prelims result on September 1, 2025. SBI PO 2025 prelims exam was conducted on August 4, 2025. 

The SBI conducted the prelims exam of SBI PO on August 4, 2025. The Mains exam will be conducted in September 2025. SBI PO examination for Phase 3 will be conducted in October/November 2025. SBI PO salary is INR 48,480 (Plus four advance increments). SBI PO payscale is INR 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920. The SBI PO 2025-26 notification was released on June 24 for 541 vacancies.The last date to apply for the SBI PO was July 14, 2025.

The State Bank of India (SBI) activated the link to download the SBI PO clerk admit card on September 14, 2025. Candidates could download the admit card of SBI PO by logging in with their registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.  SBI admit card is released online for different stages of exams as well as for different posts.   • Ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, etc. will be thoroughly checked
  • Bring pencils, eraser and a ballpoint pen

SBI follows a separate SBI exam pattern for SBI PO, SBI Clerk, and SBI SO. The exam pattern for various posts is explained below:

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern

SBI Clerk preliminary exam comprises three sections, English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The exam comprises 100 questions and the total marks allotted for the exam are 100. Candidates need to answer the questions within one hour. According to SBI Clerk exam pattern, the mains exam comprises questions from General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The paper consists of 190 questions. The duration of the test is 2 Hours 40 minutes.

SBI PO Exam Pattern

The total marks of the test are 100. The duration of the test is one hour, with sectional timings. The mains exam is a mix of objective and descriptive type tests. Release of SBI Exam Application Form 

Candidates need to fill out the application form online. The application fee can be paid online and offline. SBI application form fee is INR 750, however, SC/ST/Women candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from paying the fees. 

Issue of SBI Admit Card

SBI Admit Card is released separately for the preliminary exam, mains exam, and Group Exercises and Interview. Candidates need to access their admit cards from the official website. To download SBI admit card, candidates need to enter the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.

Appearing in the SBI Exam

Candidates need to appear in the SBI exam which is conducted in different phases/stages. SBI PO exam is conducted in three stages, preliminary, mains, Group Exercises, and Interview. The stages of the SBI Clerk exam are preliminary, mains, and Language Proficiency Test. The stages of the SBI SO exam depend on the type of vacancies/posts. For instance, recruitment to Deputy Manager (Law) comprises a written test and interview. While the selection process for Senior Special Executive (Data Analyst) and Senior Executive (Statistics) includes shortlisting and interview.

Declaration of SBI Result

SBI result is declared online by the State Bank of India. The result is available in PDF format in the form of a merit list. The scorecard is released a few days after the declaration of the result. SBI cut-off is declared along with the scorecard. To download the scorecard, candidates need to log in with their registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The scorecard displays the section-wise and overall scores.
