Admissions to HBTU Kanpur MCA course is done on the basis of merit in National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) or CUET-PG. Hence, the seat allotment process is carried out based on the applicants NIMCET rank. To take this test, candidates need to register online on its official website. Moreover, candidates also need to register on the university official website for this course and submit the application successfully by paying the fee.

Candidates with a valid Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering/Technology or having a BCA degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD/OBC-NCL category) from a university recognised by UGC are eligible to apply. Applications of only the eligible candidates are acceptable. Moreover, applicants must hold the mark sheets and other documents during form filling and admission confirmation.

Harcourt Butler Technical University provides 50+ courses across six streams at undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels. These courses are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The admissions to UG, PG, and PhD courses, namely MCA, MTech, MBA, BTech, PhD, and MSc are based on the entrance exam. HBTU BTech Counselling 2023 online registration, choice filling, fee payment and choice locking process is ongoing. HBTU BTech Counselling 2023 Round 2 seat allotment will be out on Jul 9 or Jul 10 and Round 3 will be out on Jul 15. As of now there are no further rounds scheduled for HBTU BTech Counselling 2023, it is only in the case of vacant seats, the university will be conducting spot rounds.
