Hi Gaurav,
A GRE may be required for your master's. IELTS or TOEFL is generally not required for Asian students to study in Singapore or Hong Kong. You may contact the universities for waivers and requirements.

Do you have a portfolio? It is advisable that you retake IELTS as you may not find a better option with 5.0 Bands or you may end up paying huge amount for ESL program.

Hello Simon,
Both the test as you know are English language proficiency tests. IELTS has two parts out out of which you must give IELTS Academic. Both the tests that is IELTS and TOEFL will test the following Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. To learn more about the test formats please check the official websites -

Both are accepted. Though, IELTS is preferred.

It is going to be a little difficult at the initial stages. But with dedication and hard work, it is not impossible. Coaching classes are available and so are online materials. Study hard.

The registration fee for IELTS tests administered up to 31 March 2016 is INR 10,600.
For IELTS tests, administered after 01 April 2016, the registration fee is INR 11,100.

That time has gone. Earlier, the time was good. MBA from abroad means safe future. Now, it will be suicidal to invest this much money just for MBA and still no job guarantee. Please don't do that.

It normally requires 6.5 IELTS with no band less than 6.0 in order to pursue Masters in engineering from Canada.
