The minimum acceptable IELTS score at the University of New England is 6.0. The institute also accepts some other language test scores such as TOEFL & PTE Academic.

The minimum acceptable TOEFL internet-based is 79, while for computer based test, the minimum acceptable score is 213.

8777 IELTS score means 8 band score on the listening section and 7 band score on the reading, writing, and speaking sections. A person, who score 8777 on the IELTS, is on CLB level 9. As a consequence of this, he/she has an 82-point advantage over a person who is on CLB level 8.
