IIT Madras accepts JEE Advanced scores. If we talk about the IIT Madras 2023 cutoff, candidates had witnessed lenient cutoffs as compared to IIT Madras JEE Advanced cutoff 2024. Further, it is possible to get into IIT Madras at a 7000 rank in JEE Advanced but at this rank, candidates won't be able to opt for top specialisations such as ECE, Civil, Mechanical etc. Check out the table below for specialisations available at IIT Madras under this rank.

IIT Madras is an renowned institute worldwide which offers BTech courses based on JEE Advanced exam scores. It provides admission for various BTech and Integrated courses including CSE, ECE, and Civil Engigineering programs. In 2024, IIT Madras has released the JEE Advanced cutoff 2024. IIT Madras MBA admission is based on the CAT score, followed by the candidate's performance in the PI round, conducted by the institute across five cities. However, IIT graduates who have obtained a CGPA of 8 or above and defence personnel are exempted from the CAT scores.

IIT Madras BTech admission is based on the JEE Main, followed by the JEE Advanced score. The centralised counselling process is managed and regulated by the JoSAA, based on which candidates are allotted seats. IIT Madras BTech course admissions are based on JEE Advanced and JEE Main scores. For admission to the flagship BTech programmes, candidates are selected based on their valid JEE-Advanced and JEE Main scores and ranks followed by the JoSAA counselling process. On the successful completion of the counselling process, the candidates are selected for the final seat allotment after the verification of documents and the tuition fee payment
