Thanks a lot Aneeket and @aditya-kumar
Every institute has their own criteria for admission. However, if you have studied Physics and Mathematics at undergraduate level (B.Sc.) with minimum 45 %, you are eligible for the course. Universities offer the courses as M.Sc. Astronomy or M.Sc. Astrophysics
You may also decide about integrated M.Sc. Ph.D in astrophysics from Indian Institute of Astrophysics
Other options are
Osmania University, Hyderabad
University of Pune
Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Mumbai (Most recommended)
St. Xaviers College Kolkata
@aneeket has also given valuable suggestion above, you must refer them too

Though there are thousands of coaching institutes today that offer to help you in your preparations for JEE, there are still many who make it on their own. You'll have to choose the right kind of books, but instead I'll advice you to take DLP of some good coaching institute. The advantage of that is that then you'll know on which topics you have to focus more and which topics are not so important. You'll have a sort of strategy with you. The books are designed in such a way that they prepare you thoroughly, go for ALLEN or AAKASH if you want. Also take the Test Series, that would help you know your position at the national level and le

Hi,
115 is the minimum eligibility score for JEE Advance. Students who have scored 115 or more than that are eligible for JEE Advance this year.
Keeping in mind this year JEE (Main) paper analysis, last year cut offs and only your JEE Main marks (boards not included), you can expect a rank above 75000+
Some of the institutes you might get with this score are
National Institute of Technology, Dimapur, Spot Round
National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, Spot Round
National Institute of Technology, Agartala, Spot Round
(The above is as per last years closing ranks and may vary this year)
For the list of more institutes, you can refer to shiksh

Hi Arpitha,
Yes ofcourse you can crack any competative exam including IIT. I will not say that its a easy job but yes any one can do with dedication and intelligence.
To open your mind about the board percentage relationship with passing entrance exam, I will give you a simple explanation. In 10th board you write exam on what you have learned by completing your syllabus and prescribed book.
But in entrance exam, its is not only the syllabus you have to cover but also you should know how to implement concepts in the real situation. IIT JEE neither ask you defination nor expects you to know everything about the subject. They just want you
