Chennai Mathematical Institute offers opportunity to do M Sc Mathematics for B Tech graduates. For many IITs, a Bachelors degree with Mathematics as a subject for at least two years/four semesters with 55% aggregate seems to be the eligibility and clearance of JAM . IIT Guwahati is the Organizing Institute for JAM 2015. JAM 2015 Examination will be conducted ONLINE only as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all Test Papers. All the seven Test Papers of JAM 2015 will be of fully objective type, with three different patterns of questions as follows:
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) : Each MCQ type question has four choices out of which only one choice is the correct answer.Multiple Select Questions (MSQ): Each MSQ type question is similar to MCQ but with a difference that there may be one or more than one choice(s) that are correct out of the four given choices.Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions: For each NAT type question, the answer is a signed real number which needs to be entered using the virtual keypad on the monitor. No choices will be shown for these type of questions. All candidates have to apply only ONLINE. Remember IISC, Bangalore offers an Integrated PhD in Mathematics for which B Tech qualifieds too can apply

Though there are thousands of coaching institutes today that offer to help you in your preparations for JEE, there are still many who make it on their own. You'll have to choose the right kind of books, but instead I'll advice you to take DLP of some good coaching institute. The advantage of that is that then you'll know on which topics you have to focus more and which topics are not so important. You'll have a sort of strategy with you. The books are designed in such a way that they prepare you thoroughly, go for ALLEN or AAKASH if you want. Also take the Test Series, that would help you know your position at the national level and let you know how much you have prepared.

115 is the minimum eligibility score for JEE Advance. Students who have scored 115 or more than that are eligible for JEE Advance this year.
Keeping in mind this year JEE (Main) paper analysis, last year cut offs and only your JEE Main marks (boards not included), you can expect a rank above 75000+

Yes ofcourse you can crack any competative exam including IIT. I will not say that its a easy job but yes any one can do with dedication and intelligence.
To open your mind about the board percentage relationship with passing entrance exam, I will give you a simple explanation. In 10th board you write exam on what you have learned by completing your syllabus and prescribed book.
But in entrance exam, its is not only the syllabus you have to cover but also you should know how to implement concepts in the real situation. IIT JEE neither ask you defination nor expects you to know everything about the subject. They just want you to have strong fundamental knowledge about the subject and ask question which force you to analyse on what you have read. so don't limit youself by looking into your markshteet.
I have seen people securing 90% in board but couldn't secure good rank.
hope you understand the point.
As far as preparation is concern please go through the syllabus deeply and cover each topic extensively and revise as much as you can.
Buy the best book from market, learn tips and tricks as this will help you to solve problems quickly but don't apply on all questions.

3. Strong motivation
4. Zeal to go to the depth of topic
