The total seat intake for the BSc course at IMU Chennai is 120. All these seats are offered in one specialisation i.e., Nautical Science. To get a seat in this programme, canddiates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the selection process, the university accepts the IMU CET exam.

The number of lists for admission to IMU Chennai's BSc programme is based on the number of seats offered. The third list might not be made public if there are no seats left after the second list. After the third, additional lists may be released at the Competent Authority's discretion and based on seat availability. The lists can be made public via the current online counselling system.

Yes, a medical certificate is compulsory to get admission into BSc courses at IMU Chennai, Indian Maritime University (IMUC). A physical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner is required to be submitted at the time of admission, when you get selected. Moreover, in the counseling process, an applicant is required to submit their medical certificates.
