Germany's academic environment is significantly different from India's:

•     Practical vs. theory-based: German education is much more practical, project-based, and research-oriented. Less rote learning.

•     Class schedule: Not like Indian 9-to-4 days. Typically 3–4 days of classes per week with varying lecture hours. First-year may have slightly more contact hours.

•     Self-directed learning: Students are expected to be more independent — self-study, library research, and group projects are emphasized

•     Assessment: Mix of exams, presentations, group projects, and thesis. Continuous assessment rather than single year-end exams.

•     Professor interaction: Professors are approachable. Office hours (Sprechstunde) available for 1:1 guidance.

•     Language in classroom: English programs conduct all lectures in English. German programs obviously in German.

Work-study balance: The system is designed to allow part-time work alongside study

There are quite a few well-known production houses in India, and each has its own space—some focus more on films, while others are strong in television and OTT.

For films (movies):
Names like Yash Raj Films, Dharma Productions, Red Chillies Entertainment, Excel Entertainment, T-Series, Viacom18 Studios, and Bhansali Productions are among the most prominent. These companies are known for big projects, strong storytelling, and working with established actors and directors. They usually handle large-scale films, so getting in can be competitive, but the exposure is huge.

For television and OTT:
In the TV space, Balaji Telefilms is probably the most recognised name when it comes to daily soaps. Along with that, companies like Endemol Shine India, Frames Production, Sphere Origins, and Rashmi Sharma Telefilms are quite active. With OTT growing rapidly, many of these production houses are also creating web series and digital content now.

In simple terms:

• Film production houses offer bigger projects and visibility, but opportunities take time and networking.
• Television and OTT production houses offer more regular work and quicker entry into the industry.

At the end of the day, the “best” production house depends on what kind of work you want to do. If you're aiming for cinema, you'll look towards film banners. If you want steady experience and faster learning, television and OTT can be a very good starting point.
