IIT Kanpur will declare the result for JEE Advanced 2018 and along with the result, the exam conducting authority will also declare JEE Advanced 2018 cutoff. The cutoff of JEE Advanced 2018 is the closing rank at which admission to a particular engineering/branch, at a particular IIT closes. Candidates securing a rank below than the cutoff of JEE Advanced 2018 will not be considered eligible for admissions. In other words, candidates have to secure a rank above JEE Advanced 2018 cutoff to secure a seat. Hello Teja,
Jobs for Aeronautical engineering students after passing out in core competencies are very very limited. So, I would advise you to take up CSE or mechanical if that choice is available.

Your score sounds good if you had fulfilled all the eligibility criteria for individual subjects i.e. nearly 10% in each subject then you have right to fill admission form for IIST.
From this year IIST takes admissions on the basis of JEE Mains rank if you secure a good rank in that then you will definitely see yourself in IIST.
For further information make a shortlist of that college and make opening and closing rank list category wise.

You have not mentioned your rank. I expect your open rank could be around 11k - 12k, if you are from general category then you won't get any but if you are from other categories you may. You will get the list but you can't get the college if you are from open category. Good luck!
