LPU can be considered a good option for MCA if the focus is on practical learning along with academics. The curriculum covers areas such as programming, AI, data science, cloud and cybersecurity, with projects and industry exposure included. Students also get opportunities for internships, live projects and industry sessions. Placement support includes skill training, interview preparation and recruitment drives, so career outcomes can depend on individual skills, projects and performance.

MCA and M.Tech in Computer Science are useful for different career goals. MCA is more application focused, so it can suit students who want to build skills in software development, databases, web technologies and other IT roles. M.Tech CSE goes deeper into advanced computer science, specialised technologies and research. At LPU, the MCA curriculum also includes industry interface, projects and practical exposure. So, for a job oriented IT path, MCA can be a practical choice, while M.Tech CSE may suit someone interested in advanced technical work or research.

Yes, practical learning is part of the BCA (AI and Robotics) course at LPU. The course is supported by robotics and automation facilities where students can work with areas like AI, IoT, sensors and automation. Project-based learning and technical activities also give students a chance to apply classroom concepts instead of only studying theory. This kind of exposure can help in building practical skills for technology-related careers.
