The general Digital Hollywood University admission process is given as follows:
- Firstly, obtain a passport
 - Then, take and pass the entrance exam
 - Complete the enrollment procedures such as payment of the school fees, filling out the enrollment form, etc.

International students residing outside Japan must meet the following requirements to take admission to DHU University:
One of the following requirements:
- Must have completed Class 12 by March 2024 or must be in senior high school
 - Must have completed a 12-year curriculum in an educational system or is scheduled to complete such a curriculum by March of the admission year
 - The applicant is designated by the Minister of NEXT
 - The applicant is recognised as having the academic ability equivalent to or higher than senior high school and will attain the age of 18 years by March of the admission year
