Yes, the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) accepts the scorecard of JEE-Main. But the majority of seats are sanctioned for Maharashtra domicile students and are filled through MHT-CET. An additional 25% seats are provided for All India Candidates who are admitted through the JEE-Main score. Apart from UG courses like BTech the College of Engineering Pune also provides a wide range of PG and doctoral courses which have their own specified entrance exams through which students can enroll in the desired course.

For 2023, cut off was 3962 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering in IIT Gandhinagar. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 6058 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. While deciding between colleges within the same bracket or similar reputation, location and branch plays a pivotal role in narrowing down your choices. If you are getting the same branch in COEP and NSIT, then you can choose any one which is close to your home. COEP has got a pretty good reputation and so does NSIT. In terms of city, Pune is much cleaner and safe for girls as compared to Delhi. But the fact that Delhi has got better engineering colleges which are competing with NSIT like DTU, IIIT D offsets the city advantage that Pune has over Delhi.
