For admission to BArch at IIT Kharagpur, you do need to take the JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is only open to those who first pass the JEE Main. The final selection of students happens through JoSAA Counselling. You cannot be admitted to BArch at IIT Kharagpur unless you pass JEE Advanced.

According to 2024 official data, the minimum marks in Joint Entrance Examination advanced required to get into the Indian Institutes of Technology Patna is 4852 for General All India category candidates and 1939 for OBC All India category candidates. Candidates can further check category-wise IIT Patna JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 for Mathematics and Computing Engineering specialisation in the table below:
