It is a very good career option. One of the famous universities for petroleum engineering is UPES, Dehradun.
You should write JEE as it is one of the important exams but try to prepare yourself for UPES exam also.

As your score is too low, you cannot get admission here. You should try for other private college. There are so many college which provide good placements and education too. Good luck.

If you want to do engineering and want to appear in JEE, then you should have mathematics in 12th class. Medical students can not apply for it. If you want to do engineering, then you have to repeat your class 12th by giving only Maths exam, after that you would be eligible for giving JEE Mains. All the best.

First of all, the colleges that you get does not depend on how much you scored in individual subjects but your overall marks and with these marks it's not possible to get any government architecture college as your rank is quite low
all the government architecture institutions close within 3000 rank between drawing score is given more weightage than the mathematics marks and because of your class 12th marks too you can't get any government college as the requirement is 75%.

In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on th
