Hey Abhi,
Your score is not valid enough to get admission into NIT or IIT, however you may get government colleges in Maharashtra. But you should apply for some best private universities having their forms open. Private universities also provide best infrastructure and equally good education with government universities. You can check out the placement records before taking admission. Below are some suggested colleges -

Private universities also provide best infrastructure these days and have excellent placement records. You can check out the following colleges -

You need to focus only on one thing: your studies. Not what others are doing. Nicely keep covering all your chapters in all the three subjects(PCM) flawlessly. Prepare well for your boards. JEE main will also get covered. This year JEE main did joke with us; they asked defintion and even one word answers that require the 'go through' of the lessons and not practice. Maths needs excellent practice and physics can be covered with little effort of conceptions. Do these with love and there! You will easily qualify. But never ignore class 12th board. +2 marks are well considered. All the best !!

Hi Vigneshwari,
There can be variation in ranks when the same is calculated on the basis of normalization of scores, taking in account Class XII Board results along with reservation (SC / ST / OBC etc.) and JEE exam scores.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.

You need to qualify the JEE Mains and then appear for JEE Advance. If you do excellent in Advanced, only then you could get into IIT.

NIT-Surat is there in Gujarat. But with 70 marks, you can get admission into it only if you belong to ST or SC category. If OBC, you have a very little chance of getting into it. Thats all I know.

148 ? Very easily you'll get it. Don't contain yourself, prepare for the advanced whole heartedly and try getting into IITs. Think of the NITs as a backup. All the best !!
