I am saying this because of the following calculations for your benefit. All the national level institutes accepting the rankings of JEE Mains examination have a total of just about 40000 seats. With reservations for SC category at 15% the number of seats come to about 6000 across India. Does with the above explanation you can see for yourself as to where you stand vis-a-vis seats available for SC category. In view of the four going, I would rather such as that you can take 1 year off from studies etc. and devote this time for preparing for this exam next year once again with the hope of getting a much better ranking within your categories and as a result or seat in the major or the famous NITs across the country.
