Getting admission totally depends on the AIR. Getting admission in- (round about rank range)
Sector 62: You need to have rank in 1u2013100/130K. Sector 128: You need to have rank in 130K-220K. This range also depends on the number of applicants. If you have more bumber of applicants in the first range then seats would fill up fast. Likewise for the second one. So admission depends on - your rank, number of registrations and most important luck. All the best. ;). .

In order to get a CSE seat in NITs, you need to score at least 96 percentile as per past year trends in OBC category. Thus, with 85 percentile, chances are very low for NITs, IITs or GFTIs. The candidates must score a minimum 60% aggregate score in 10+2 level. For getting CSE at SASTRA one has to score above 95% in 12th and above 93 percentile in JEE Main.

In JEE Main your general category rank should be around 70k for a percentile of 93. Your admission to NIT will be determined by your category rank, which is the Gen-EWS rank.

According to. Me it is completely depending on the institutions, so in whichever Institute you are interested you can contact the admission department of that particular Institute and get the necessary details.

The admission process is popularly known as JAC Chandigarh admissions. Since admissions are based on All India Ranks of JEE Main there is no entrance exam.

Hello, In general, it is not quite possible to tell if you will be able to get a seat under category-b. It solely depends on the students who apply for a seat under category-b. But in your case, your rank might not be quite not enough to get you a seat in CSE/ECE/it at above mentioned institutes. Good Luck!
