Candidates scoring 95 percentile in JEE Main can get multiple NITs. This percentile ranges between 60,000 and 90,000 owing to which it is qualifying for most of the NITs. You can get entrances to mid tier NITs and a few bottom some also based on branch/campus. The top NITs we know of, like NIT Trichy or NIT Warangal, would have kept your CAP I, but other prestigious places should be in the range. Always refer to the latest cutoff trends & do participate in this counseling for a better chance of admission.

You have secured 6373 rank in ST category, therefore you can apply for few NIT’s but the actual number of seats possible depends on the seat matrix. Being an EWS candidate with a CRL rating of 62,789, you may be able to obtain greater possibilities through CSAB or JoSAA counselling as opposed to VIT Bhopal. Waiting may produce better results because these counselling sessions frequently provide access to preferred branches or higher-ranked colleges.

Only the CRL rank is taken into account for IITs. Because of their higher cut-offs, admittance to IITs is impossible for someone with a CRL rank of 4 lakh. IIT admissions are highly competitive, with just the CRL rank being taken into consideration. SC category ranks are not used for admission to IITs.

In NITs, the Common Rank List (CRL) rank is usually taken into account for JoSAA counselling. Securing admission to NITs may be difficult with a CRL rank of 4 Lacs because they often have lower cut-offs. While SC rank may be taken into account for reserved category seats, it is still important to verify the NIT cut-offs.
