Hello Faisal Aziz, admissions under lateral scheme in engineering colleges is invariably based on merit only. Marks obtained in Diploma examinations are the besis for admission in majority of the states. Ranking is decided on these marks and subsequent admissions. Hello Laxmi, yes indeed. But please check about eligiblity conditions on the website of Anna university for mining course. Being hazardous, there were restrictions on girl students for this branch in earlier times.
