It's a good option if that's your priority. Courses are no different and opportunities are more. Any courses offered by VIT are really great and the placement offers are really good. I hope I was able to answer your question.

You can apply when you will be appearing in 2nd year. For preparations download syllabus from CBSE website. Go through news papers for paper 1 and for paper 2, read your subject related content done at graduation and post graduation level along with research methodology in general and related to subject.

The fee structure varies for each branch and each category. For BTech CSE in category 1, the fee is Rs 1.64 Lakh. This increases as the category increases and goes up to 5 Lakhs per annum. Hostel fee is excluded here. I hope it helps. If you are speaking about Integrated course, the fee would be depending upon your qualification. And coming to B.Tech and M.Tech separately, you have to appear for VITEEE for admission in B.Tech based on your rank your fee would differ and even the same with M.Tech.

You can directly take admission in M.Tech after clearing GATE. Doing M.Sc+ M.Tech. Takes 4 years and B.Tech. + M.Tech. Takes 6 years. But GATE + M.Tech takes 3 years. Save your years. All the best for your future.
