Advantage B.Tech-M.Tech dual degree is that you will be able to save one year but big disadvantage is that you will get struck with an Institute. If you do not select right Institute you do not have any corrections option available with you. If you do B.Tech from Tier 3, engineering college you can do M.Tech from top IIT by clearing GATE or do MS abroad.

B.Tech and M.Tech are engineering degrees where as maths and statistics fall under science stream. No engineering college in India offer integrated B.Tech-M.Tech maths or science. However, you may evaluate option of doing integrated M.Sc in institutes such as IITs and BITS Pilani.

Hi Rishi,
As per the NIRF rankings 2017, the ranking of SRM is 35 but KIIT is 47.
Also, the placements and exposure are better at SRM University than at KIIT especially for computer science.
So it is better to join SRM University.

This is purely dependent on your interest and also the quality of the college you are studying.
B.Tech + MBA is a good option if you want to go for management jobs whereas if you want to go for pure technical job B.Tech + M.Tech.
