Candidates seeking admission to the PG course should check out the eligibility and selection details. The LPU admission cycle begins with the registration process followed by selection rounds and counselling. Below are the steps for LPU MBA admissions:

Step 1: LPU MBA Application Process 2026

The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. The 'Take Admission' option is now available to all applicants. This means that candidates can qualify for admission through the LPUNEST/ interview process either before or after submitting their application for an MBA. Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the LPU application form:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of LPU, https://www.lpu.in/, and click on the ' Apply Now' tab at the top of the web page.

Step 1.2: Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email ID used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering. Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes).

Step 1.3: Upload the requisite documents.

Step 1.4: Pay the application fee and hit the submit button to complete the application process.

Step 2: Slot Booking

This step is applicable only to the candidates appearing for LPU NEST. In LPUNEST slot booking, aspirants need to select an exam date and a shift for appearing in the exam. There are two ways to book the slot that are slot booking by the candidate and slot booking by the authorities of Lovely Professional University.

Step 3: Selection Rounds

The university conducts LPUNEST to shortlist candidates for MBA admission. LPU also accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT for shortlisting aspirants for MBA courses. The selected candidates are further called for group discussion and personal interview rounds.

Step 3: Admission Confirmation

After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates for MBA are further called for a document verification round. Aspirants need to confirm their seats by paying the MBA course fee. The LPU MBA tuition fee ranges between INR 1.6 lakh - INR 14 lakh. In addition, the hostel charges are up to INR 2.2 lakh. This fee amount is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

LPU offers scholarships to MBA students based on their performance in the respective entrance exams and aggregate obtained by them in previous qualifying exam/ degree. Candidates who meet prescribed criteria become eligible to obtain an LPU scholarship. The details for the same are as follows:
