Yes, you can apply but there is a total loss of time, energy and money by pursuing MCA after B.Tech. If you like to do master degree, then without looking for anything go for M.Tech.

Yes, you can go in for MBA after MCA. This decision should depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. In case you intend to pursue a career in Technical / research / academics area then an MBA may not be of much help to you. However, if you want to move into general management the MBA is better.

Since you are interested in Event management, It is advisable that you explore the kind of work such a qualification leads you to and the subsequent career growth & then take a call.

The duration of MCA course is total three academic years. It is a full-time postgraduate course offered by many colleges/Universities situated in India. This course has been divided into six semesters with the duration of six months each. The first year of this course focuses on the skill developments in computers, second year is aimed for providing a conceptual framework and the third year offers the specializations and project work. It depends on the country, degree you want to lecture and the University. But, these days you should have a Ph.D Degree, teaching experience and some published research.
