Great placement and infrastructure but scope is there for curriculum improvements.

Placements: Placement percentage : Above 7.5 CGPA students well placed. Package details : the highest package : INR 33 LPA the lowest package : INR 5 LPA Average Package: Around INR 10-12 LPA Top Recruiting Companies : Phones pe Myntra IBM Accenture Wipro cognizant Capgemini Infosys Google etc. Internship details: students with CGPA above 7 were offered internships. Top internship companies same as above Top roles offered: software engineer data analyst consultant developed project manager product manager etc.

Infrastructure: Course/department facilities include high speed Wi Fi across campus. The lab is well equipped with modern tools for practice and learning. Classrooms are spacious and airconditioned with smart boards. The library has an extensive collection of books, journals and digital resources. Hostel facilities include clean furnished rooms with 24/7 water and electricity. The food is hygienic with a variety of options in the mess and snacks available in the canteen. Medical facilities are available on campus at the health center with emergency care. Sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games like cricket football and badminton as well as gym access are available.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good. Teachers are helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable offering both academic and practical guidance. The course curriculum is updated and industry-relevant preparing students for real-world challenges with a mix of theoretical and practical exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focused on understanding rather than rote learning. The passing percentage is generally above 85 percent with consistent support for struggling students.

Other: The best things about the course are the updated curriculum, practical exposure, and knowledgeable faculty. Improvements needed include facilities, more elective options, and hands-on projects. Campus life includes events and fests for culture, tech, and sports, with vibrant participation. The campus crowd is diverse and friendly, with an engaging environment. The college is well-connected by public transport and situated in a peaceful location with basic amenities nearby. Merit-based and need-based scholarships are available. Extracurricular activities are available for arts, sports, etc.

Poor Placement records but overall a good institution.

Placements: The college has now taken accreditation of a university so I guess the placement record of the institute might have improved as during my batch and the batch senior to me did not enjoy a good placement experience. Not many good companies had visited the campus for industrial trainings and placements during my period of study. The package range offered was 3-8 LPA. However, the college has a separate placement wing with experienced faculty providing good opportunities to the students.

Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-fi campus but the wi-fi system in the hostel is not a thing to talk about as it is the worst. The college has a well-equipped sports complex with the latest equipments and library with the latest books & magazines. The food quality of the mess is average. There are separate labs for different subjects.

Faculty: The faculty strength of the institute is quite appraisable having a highly experienced team imparting their knowledge to the students. They are all highly qualified professionals who are always ready to provide extra classes to their students as per their needs. The industry exposure is quite low as compared to other colleges.

Other: The college is involved in organizing various activities & events from academics to entertainment. From cricket, basketball to debates and other tech competitions always keep the students engaged all around the year.

Placements: The placements are the best for computer science students. You can learn a lot here. If you want a comparison, then PES can only be compared with RVCE because of the placements and the infrastructure. PES stands equal and almost top among the independent universities.

Infrastructure: This has one of the best infrastructure buildings in the whole of Bengaluru. Ramaiyya has a vast campus, but PES provides good spacious infrastructure, which is the best for its purpose. Don't go anywhere when you can have the best infrastructure and good teaching, but make sure you are a disciplinary student from the core itself. PES has a campus for B.Tech like that in any of the offices. You will enjoy the campus when you go through fest scenarios that happen in the college. The management gave a chance, and you must take care of the building utilities properly.

Faculty: The faculty members for B.Tech and MBA are better than MCA, but good when compared to the other colleges. The faculty abide by the rules of the institution. At PES, you are free to express your ideas, where the faculty members and college support you. If you are the last bencher and want a college life to enjoy, then this is not for you because the college is strict in its ways.

Other: Atmatrisha and Prakalpa are held on the campus for the students.

PES University is a worthy college.

Placements: Department-wise, the openings were there during my academic year. Very good opportunities are given to each and every student. The college had one of the best team for placement assistance. The minimum annual package offered was Rs. 3,00,000 per annum and many companies offered good packages. Even my senior batch had very good placement offers. Some companies offered with internship and full-time employment.

Infrastructure: The college had good infrastructure. It had very spacious parking section. There are neatly maintained corridors and classrooms. The projector and Wi-Fi facility is also there in the college. The well-equipped labs are there with air-conditioned. The canteen facility is also available with different cuisines. The very good auditorium is there which can accomodate more than 1000 students at a time.

Faculty: The college had a well-educated set of faculty members. Most of them hold a doctorate. Faculty advisory facility is provided, where special care and interest is taken to every student. It also helps students to interact with teachers and discuss their thoughts and views.

PES-People Education Society.

Placements: The placements in the college are automatically awarded if we have good skills, so overall, we have good placements. Many companies like Microsoft, IBM, VM Ware, Federal, etc. visit the college for campus selection. Nearly, 40 companies visit the college for campus recruitment.

Infrastructure: The college has good labs with 24/7 Wi-Fi facility, and everything is good and imparts an advantage. The campus has a great environment where we have a place for the peace and entertainment too. Altogether the campus infrastructure is too good. The PCs are up to date, and we never had an issue with any infrastructure in the college.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are highly qualified, and we have the healthy environment. They are friendly and are helpful to the students. The course curriculum gives exact information which we are going to possess in the whole academic year. They go through with the students and discuss the issues and help us to find a solution. They organise class meetings and faculty meetings to find out the issues and rectify if any.

Other: We have MRD scholarship, CNR scholarship which encourages and motivates the students for improvement in studies. So, many educational fests, cultural programs, and educational seminars are done in the college.
