The minimum marks required to get MBBS admissions in Jamia Hamdard in the NEET entrance exams are unknown. Instead, the data shows the minimum rank that is needed to gain admissions in MBBS course at Jamia Hamdard which according to the 2024 cutoff rank is 23,802. Candidates who are able to secure a rank higher than this in NEET exam can easily gain admission in MBBS course at Jamia Hamdard.

No, candidates who wish to gain admissions into the BPharma course at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham do not have to appear for the NEET exam. The admissions into BPharma courses at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham are decided by the institute's own entrance exam. Candidates who secure appropriate ranks in the entrance exam and fulfill its eligibility criteria are alloted seats in the BPharma course.

For admission to the MBBS course at Jamia Hamdard, candidates must have a valid NEET score. Based on the 2023 seat allotment, the closing rank for General category candidates in Round 1 was 56,658, while the last round closing rank reached 59,571. Only students with a NEET score within this range are eligible to participate in Jamia Hamdard's MBBS admissions under the All India Quota.

No, NEET is not required for admission to the BPharma course offered by the university. As per the admission criteria, the selection for the BPharma program is made based on marks secured in the university's in-house entrance test, i.e., ITM NEST. Moreover, students applying for the course must check the eligibility criteria in the first place.

The Sharda University has in house state-of-the-art libraries. These libraries remain open 14 hours a day, all week long. Students enrolled in any programme, including MBBS can borrow books from library or read them there itself. At the time of examinations, the libraries are open for 19-20 hours a day.

Students who are offered admission to Sharda University MBBS course must resport to the university for verification of documents. Such students must carry the following documents:

  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Class 12 marksheet
  • NEET scorecard
  • Seat allotment letter
  • Identification proof
  • Age proof
  • Categiry certificate
  • Incoe certificate

Comparing Rama Medical College (Hapur) and KPC Medical College (Kolkata) for MBBS:

  • Rama Medical College, Hapur is a private institution with an attached 1,050-bed hospital, NMC-approved, offering around 250 MBBS seats. NEET closing rank for 2024 was about 125,839 (General). Annual tuition is roughly Rs 13.1 lakh, plus hostel and other fees. 
  • KPC Medical College, Kolkata is the first private PPP-turned-private college in West Bengal, affiliated with WBUHS. It offers 150 MBBS seats, charges around Rs 9.3 Lacs for the course, and holds a decent state ranking (India Today: 25th in India, 5th in Kolkata).

Yes, candidates can join the BPharm course without valid NEET scores. Because Nirma University also accepts different entrance examination scores for admission to the BPharm course, such as GUJCET/Merit, etc. Thus, NEET is one of the accepted entrance examinations for admission to the BPharm course. However, it is not mandatory. Moreover, 85% of the BPharm course seats are filled by ACPC counselling.
