Yes, students can take admission to a private medical college with a score of 300 in NEET. To get into a government medical college, scores above 600 are generally required. NEET cutoff rankings for government colleges are released after the institute's (round) counselling. Hence, a score of 300 would likely not get candidates into a government medical college. Based on last year's trends, cutoff marks were between 500 and 700 and above.

M.S. Ramaiah Medical College is a top-tier medical school in Bangalore. Admission to MBBS requires passing NEET-UG, scoring at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (40% for reserved categories), and being at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year. Seats (including NRI/management) are allotted through KEA counselling based on rank and eligibility.
