Yes, you can get into NIFT Mumbai with a 400 rank depending on the category you belong to. For the General AI category, admission were closed at a rank of 655. The courses available for this category can be seen in the table below.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Mumbai has an Anti-Ragging Cell. Hence, the freshers will never meet with this problem while studying in this college. The college premises has strict laws against the student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, among others.

Yes, NIFT Mumbai is good for BDes programme. It is one of the 18 campuses of NIFT and has ranked in the top 3 in the country for the 3rd consecutive year in 2025. The college offers a BDes programme in full-time mode for 4 years. It is offered in several specialisations such as Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, etc.
