NIFT Mumbai has not so good placements. Only a few students i.e. 10 percent get campus placements. The rest try for off-campus placements or start their own venture. Calvin Klein, Tanishq, Godrej, Infosys, Marks and Spencer, Pantaloon, Raymond, Reliance Retail, Spykar are some of the recruiting companies that visit for placements.

Admission to NIFT's MBA programme depends on various factors beyond the entrance exam score, such as the number of applicants, available seats, and the competition in a given year. While securing 88% in the NIFT Entrance Exam is a good score, the final admission depends on the overall performance and the cutoff for the MBA programme at NIFT Mumbai that year. It's advisable to check the previous year's cutoff scores and participate in the counselling process to have a clearer idea of your chances for admission.
