NIFT Mumbai is generally considered to be as good or better than CCSMS, as CCSMS does not offer programs in the same field. The direct comparison of NIFT Mumbai and CCSMS (Central College of South Maharashtra) is not provided in the search results, as CCSMS is not a fashion-related institution like NIFT. NIFT Mumbai is recognised as one of the top campuses of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), which is a prestigious institution in the field of fashion education.

The decision of whether M.Des at NIFT Mumbai is better than Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University depends on students considering various factors such as faculty, curriculum, infrastructure, and placement opportunities. NIFT Mumbai is renowned for its fashion education, while Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University may have its own strengths.

However, NIFT Mumbai is highly regarded in the field of fashion design and is ranked as one of the top M.Des colleges in Maharashtra.

So, one must consider all factors beforing taking a decision.
