Academy:-The academic performance of both the colleges are almost the same. However CS IS, EC and EEE branch are good at Acharya. In new horizon I CS and IS are good as per my knowledge. Regarding studies and faculty assistance, you would experience both sweet and sour experiences in both the colleges in every branch. Both are same here
Affiliation:- Both the colleges are affiliated to VTU and are approved by the AICTE. But Acharya is also accredited by the NBA. Acharya wins here due to NBA.

The entrance exams accepted by the New Horizon College of Engineering include KCET MAT/ KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET and GATE. Moreover, for Ph.D. programmes the entrance exam accepted is VTU Research Aptitude Test + Interview.
