The University of Regina international students are offered International Student of Distinction Scholarship. 50 international students with the highest school averages each term will be awarded free on-campus housing and a meal. This award is valued at CAD 80,000 for 4 years 4.5 years for Engineering students. International students applying for an undergraduate degree at the university will be automatically considered for this scholarship. Also, this award is renewable if students continue to complete 30 credit hours per calendar year and maintain a UGPA of 80%.

It is not so hard to get into Regina University as the acceptance rate is not that much high as compared to other top universities in Canada. The University of Regina acceptance rate is around 91%, which means out of 100 applications 91 are admitted. Students are required a good academic score with a qualifying GPA.

International students whose first language is not English must submit the proof of English language proficiency. Regina University accepts the IELTS score as a proof of English language proficiency. Check the below table for minimum score required to get into the university:
