IIT JAM is an online entrance exam which includes seven papers: - Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Biological Science. It doesn't includes Microbiology, as a subject.

Depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. In case you intend to pursue a career in Technical programming /coding / research / academics area then M.Sc / MCA is better. However, if you want to move into general management then MBA is better. Thank you.

Normally speaking, classes should begin in the month of August. However, if the counselling gets delayed by whatever reason then beginning of session could also get delayed. The best person to answer this query would be principal of the institute or administrative staff.
