Please see the difference between the qualifications required for PRT / TGT / PGT teachers. Essential Qualification for (PRT) Teacher: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)
Essential Qualification for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) B.Ed Degree from a recognized University + Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. This are the minimum eligibility required:-The basic criterion of eligibility needed to be MET for admission to the course is a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/ or Math as main subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 55%.
